Report says Ontario's wind turbine guidelines are 'rigorous' - Dunnville Chronicle - Ontario, CA:
"Ontario's Minister of the Environment Jim Bradley has released a report on noise made from Industrial Wind Turbines (IWT) which claims the province is going above and beyond what is expected of them in dealing with the controversial type of renewable energy. The article gets better during the brief paragraphs quoting Ernie King, vice-president of Haldimand Wind Concerns, but returns to pretending it's a fresh, relevant study again.
In the report obtained by Haldimand County, it states there is "no direct health risk(s) from wind turbine sound at Ontario's regulated setback distance."
The study, conducted by noise, vibration and acoustics experts Howe Gastmeier Chapnik Limited, analyzed the latest findings on low frequency noise and infrasound from wind turbines, looking at 100 papers and reports from Ontario, Alberta, and countries around the world."
This is a responce to MR Boyle comments in the Dunnville Chronicle.
ReplyDeleteAll of the sudden we have Boyle talking to media, well, where is Hewitt playing golf with some Samsung folks. Hewitt has lost any respect that he had.
Several points Boyle is quoted as saying in this article are completely baseless "we've done everything in our power" not true,
"From my understanding, they have gone through a lot of work to put this [report] together." not true again and Boyle admits in this comment he is not sure but states it anyway . Cancel the permits and get all the other counties to do the same , then see if the wind companies will all sue all of Ontario and take over Ontario's rural Counties , that’s their bluff that’s where this can be stopped from our councilors and Mayors who all voted for the moratoriums
Mr Boyle look at the truth, talk to the people who lived or are living with turbines sir, be truthful to yourself.
Mr Boyle , do a search in Youtube - Haldimand wind - and look at the visual facts as to what is happening with land value depreciation, health affects. Move the turbines 2kms away from any homes
Scientists in New Zealand, who have actually gone out into wind turbine farms to take measurements, have found that the cyclic low frequency sound coming from wind turbines is triggering the fight or flight response that is wired into all of us. This leads to sleeplessness, high blood pressure, a rapid pulse, and other maladies. They say that the setbacks from homes should be 2 KM or more. This video will show the misery of wind victims-some over 2 miles away-and what the scientists have to say about it. You can also read the published peer-reviewed study that they did at the second link.
