McGuinty must restrain himself | Editorial | Opinion | Toronto Sun:
(3) McGuinty could have saved another $1 billion, approximately, by not cancelling two natural gas plants to save the political hides of two Liberal MPPs leading up to the 2011 election. In fairness, McGuinty has said one of the plants will be moved. We invite readers to treat this claim with all the seriousness it deserves.Read the full article at The Toronto Sun site
(4) In future, we urge McGuinty not to force Ontarians to pay, through higher electricity rates, up to $250 million annually to green energy companies not to produce electricity. Someone in government should tell the premier you can actually pay zero dollars for zero electricity.
In case some have missed this blog, I have copied it here:

Foreign Scholarships Scandal (Another insult to struggling Ontario students.)
G20 Scandal (Grants illegal police powers and gives protesters the middle finger.)
GM Pension Bailout (Our tax dollars pay for pensions most of us can only dream of.)
Green Energy Plan (Expensive, off-peak, renewable energy is sold at a loss to foreign markets.)
Health Premium (Dalton promised, "No new taxes." He didn’t mention premiums.)
Hiring & Expenses Scandal (LHINs buy lobbyists with health dollars; more expense scams.)
HST Scandal (A zero-impact tax, if only it had been applied fairly. Instead, major cash grab.)
Hydro Rate Scandal (Rates are going through the roof, but a 10% “rebate” is offered. LOL.)
LHIN Review Delay (Don’t want any bad news to hamper the 2011 election now, do we?)
MPAC Scandal (Expense scandal; properties grossly over- or undervalued.)
Niagara Falls Commission Scandal (Fancy restaurants, posh hotels, money to Liberal friends.)
Nortel Pension Bailout (Yet more pensions paid for by our tax dollars.)
Offshore Wind Turbines Scandal (Arrogance followed by fast backpedaling.)
OLG Scandal (Corruption in gambling? Say it isn't so!)

Rural Ontario Solar Scandal (Offer big incentives for installations, then renege on the deal.)
Samsung Scandal (An sole-source deal worth $7 billion so we can pay higher energy rates.)
Severance Scandal (Provincial Tax Collectors get severance to become Federal Tax Collectors.)
Slush Funds ($32 million to Liberal friends; no applications and no accountability)
Smart Meter Scandal (Social engineering at its best. Please ignore the “software issues.”)
The Tire Tax (“There’ll be no tire tax,” Dalton promised. It’s called a “Tire Stewardship FEE”)
Tuition Fees (Highest in Canada, but at least the teachers’ unions are happy.)
Workers Safety Insurance Board Bailout (Throwing money at failures, expecting change.)
