An Update from Haldimand Wind Concerns. The current battle sees another appeal following a REC approval for another project in Haldimand.

HWC's appeal hearing of NextEra's wind project continues on July 16, 17, 18 & 19, 2012 at the Hagersville, Community Centre, 62 Main St. South beginning at 10 am. each day. Since the schedule or start times can change daily, please check your emails regularly or the websites for possible changes. A date for final submissions has yet to be decided.
On Friday, June 15, 2012, Samsung received approval to erect 67 Industrial Wind Turbines along the north shore of Lake Erie from Nelles Corners to Dunnville. On Tuesday, July 3, 2012 Haldimand Wind Concerns appealed this approval through our lawyer, Eric Gillespie on behalf of all concerned citizens throughout Haldimand. Please support our efforts to keep our county safe and healthy with the landscapes as they are, as they should be.
