We took your calls and spoke with Warren Mabee, the director of the Queen's Institute for Energy and Environmental Policy, about the federal government's new plan to study the health effects of noise from wind turbines.

  1. Lots of studies in all these countries, yes but you fail to say who funded them. Even here the environmental studies are done by 'independent' companies chosen by the WIND COMPANIES. They are bogus. I did not give consent to study my land so they 'looked across' my 100 acre fields and 'through' the bush. How is that for an inaccurate study.
    Check out the number of liberal connections there are to these projects as well.
    Don't be fooled by the impact of the one LITTLE one in Toronto. Put numerous large ones together andlive with the effects. Standing under one doesn't qualify for an opinion.

    The CBC has once again disappointed concerned listeners by giving a platform to a political/industry spokesperson this time Warren Maybee, whose credentials to comment on the complex issues involved are his PhD in "wood science/biofuels"?
    You can do better.
